Hippies

In America during the mid 1960s a subculture influenced by India and eastern religions began. It was a lifestyle expressed in music and full of peace, love and understanding. Drug use became a ritual with colourful clothing everywhere.

Festivals started in 1965 with the Woodstock festival.
